I'M ENCOURAGED BY WHAT I SAW FROM THE WASHINGTON WIZARDS!
Yes, Washington suffered its first loss of the season, falling 112–102 to the Toronto Raptors.
But I LOVED THE FIGHT!
The Wizards trailed by 17 POINTS in the first half!
And instead of folding, they BATTLED BACK!
Washington cut the deficit to just ONE POINT in the third quarter!
That's the kind of resilience I want to see from this team!
Especially given the fact that it was a tough night for Anthony Davis and Trae Young.
PLUS — TRE JOHNSON WAS AWESOME OFF THE BENCH!
20 points with 4 triples.
He's confident, he's aggressive, and he's not afraid to look for his shot!
And I think that's going to be HUGE for the Wizards this season.
